President Akufo-Addo To Cancel 9% Communications Service Tax
Ghana’s listening president Nana Akufo-Addo is reported to be putting plans in order to cancel the 9% communication service tax on mobile networks.
The 9% communication service tax which was announced on Monday 1st October 2019 by the Ghana Chamber of Telecommunications took effect right away.
However the communication service tax’s increment coinciding with Ghana’s Public Utilities Regulatory Commission (PURC) increment in utility bills did not go down well with Ghanaians. Who voiced out their frustration.
As usual the listening president is reported to be about reversing the 9% communication service tax increment. Avenuegh.com will give you full updates soon.
