Government Absorbs BECE Registration Fees For Public Schools

In a release dated 13th november 2019 and signed by the Controller of the National Examination Administration Department (NEAD) of WAEC , the West African Examination Council (WAEC) notifies the general public of the Government of Ghana’s take up of the BECE 2020 registration fees for all public schools.

The Release Reads

Floating of the above-mentioned examination begins from 20th November 2019 and ends on 31st December 2019.

The fee per candidate is eighty-eight Ghana cedis (GHC88.00). The Government of Ghana intends to absorb the fees for candidates in public schools.

Please make this known to all heads of private schools in your region
