“I am not broke, I pay DSTV bills” – Strong Man Interview

The entertaining episode of the beef between AMG Medikal and former Sarkcess Music signee Strongman Burner led to revelations that the word play rapper is so broke that he uses standing fan in his room.


These rumors were definitely not good for his brand, as a “Celebrity” is expected to be financially sound and leave an extravagant life.


In an interview with Delay, Strongman denied claims that he is so broke that he is even unable to fend for himself and his girlfriend Nana Ama.

He also denied claims that they had a standing fan in their room due to their struggling financial status.


Strongman noted that they are living a perfect life without any financial difficulties at all .

He stated that he pays DSTV bills and that if he was broke, he could not have afforded that.

He went on to stay that he takes very good care of Nana Ama.


One would expect a better defense from the rapper. Paying DSTV bills is definitely not a good defense as the the average Ghanaian can do that.


The pressure and expectations society has for “Celebrities” is way too high. Strongman definitely does not look broke. Just that the expectation from the status he has acquired is way too high.

Osei Kwaku Vincent popularly known as Strongman Burner was born on 10th February,1993. Strongman is a Ghanaian rap , Hip-Life and Hip-hop Artiste known for his lyrical wordplay. He His music career begun when he was still a student at T.I Amass.

He started his journey to fame by winning the “Focus fm Freestyle Friday” in 2010, “Kfm Freestyle Saturday” in 2011 and “Tha Next Big Thang In Gh Hip-hop” in 2012.

Strongman has worked with Ghanaian artiste in such as Okyeame Kwame, Sarkodie, Bisa Kdei, Flowking Stone and Edem. He has featured countless times on DJ ciphers such as the DJ Black cipher and Tim Westwood.


He has recently won the hearts of Ghanaians with his punchlines and wordplay after his matured handling of the “beef” between him and fellow artist Medikal which could have escalated badly as they took turns tearing each other apart.
