Recruitment Of Internal Control System Manager At Tano Biakoye Organic Cocoa Coorperative

 

Field coordinator should be willing to visit the field and interact with farmers and field officers as well as the ability to perform functions such as scheduling, safety and reporting.
Required Skills or Experience

  • Project management Skills – to meet the demands of multiple field services or projects, field coordinators must understand project planning and deadlines, resource allocation, and the safety requirements related to the field activities in their purview
  • Attention to detail – Must have the ability to analyze complex projects, identify inefficiencies, and coordinate staff and equipment resources to ensure the timely completion of deliverables
  • Organizational skills – the demands of scheduling multiple services and field projects at one time require field coordinators to have the organizational skills that will prevent overbooking, missed appointments, or delayed service delivery
  • Interpersonal skills – field coordinators must have strong listening skills when communicating with workers, Farmers and other key stakeholders. This includes the ability to resolve interpersonal conflicts and hear complaints without becoming defensive.
  • Three (3) years’ work experience in related field
  • Basic knowledge and skills in emails and Microsoft Office (MS Excel, Word, etc..
  • Age must be 30 years and above
  • Ability to ride a motorbike
  • Should be knowledgeable in organic cocoa agronomy
  • Excellent written and spoken communication and a proactive approach to effective communication in Twi and English are a must. Fluent in Krobo and Fante are an added advantage.
  • Willingness to relocate full time to Kensakrom, Atwima Mponuah District, Ashanti Region.

  • Willingness to undergo training on organic agriculture and Dynamic Agroforestry (DAF) for at least six months.
  • Willingness to relocate full time to Kensakrom, Atwima Mponuah District, Ashanti Region.

Recruitment Of Rural Development Technical Advisor At Frannan International

 

The rural development technical advisor will be expected to provide technical services and advice to GAC in the areas of the development performance and trend analysis, sector-based opportunity and constraint assessment, policy analysis and dialogue, strategic planning, programme and project planning, implementation facilitation, monitoring and evaluation, reporting on results achievement and lessons learned.

The duration of this Consultancy is (1) one year, full time and working up to 220 days a year and based in our Tamale office.

 

Qualification Required & Experience

The Consultant must have the following experience, knowledge and expertise:

  • A post-graduate degree in Development Studies, Agricultural Economics, Monitoring and Evaluation or related Social Science discipline to undertake this assignment, if the field of studies is not listed above, please provide a clear definition of what as studies and how it related to the proposed assignment
  • At least 3 years of practical experience monitoring complex and sector-wide projects, preferably in rural development or agriculture and with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • A sound understanding of Ghana’s agriculture sector, including decentralized goverance structures and systems
  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent english writing skills and demonstrated ability to perform in a team

The Consultant must have the following experience, knowledge and expertise
