GES SHS Academic Calendar Released

The Government has officially released Academic Calendar for all SHS 1 students. This comes after the release of Reopening date for Senior High Schools (SHS). Check and download the new GES academic calendar below.

About GES SHS Academic  Calendar

Management of Ghana Education Service (GES) welcomes all first year students as school opens officially  18th March.

As per the new academic calendar, first year students in some schools will run a double
track calendar. Even though they are all reopening together, Management of the various
schools will inform students of their various tracks whiles on campus.

SHS DOUBLE TRACK CALENDAR

The SHS 1 double track schools will follow the calendar below:

SHS 1 First Semester

1. Green Track :18 March to 25 June
2. Gold Track: 18 March to 28 May

SHS 1 Second Semester

1. Green Track calendar : 1st September to 18 December
2. Gold Track calendar : 30 June to 18th  December

SHS SINGLE TRACK CALENDAR

Not all schools will run double track. The single track schools will observe the following calendar:

SHS 1 Single Track First Semester

1. SHS 1 Single Track: 18th March to 25th June

SHS 1 Single Track Second Semester

1. SHS 1 Single Track: 1st September to 18th December
