Recruitment Of Supervisory Warehouseman

Job Responsibilities

  • Job holder works with one of the warehouse teams in the GSO section, responsible for coordinating the movement of materials in and out of the warehouse as well as ensuring supplies and other items in the warehouse are maintained as required. Functions include safekeeping, storing, preparing and picking up materials to and from the warehouse. Job holder supervises two warehouse workers, and three laborers. Reports to the warehouse supervisor.

Job Qualifications

  • A minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated work experience in a large warehouse operation is required. One (1) year of total
  •  must be in a supervisory capacity.
  • Must have general knowledge of warehousing regulations and procedures as well as motor vehicle safety program which apply to operating in a secure and safe environment. Must have good knowledge in road traffic regulations, must be familiar with routes related to location of residences, and must have general knowledge in safety regulations relating to bulk fuel receiving and storage.
  • Mandatory: Completion of secondary school is required.

Recruitment Of GSO Assistant

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and assist the General Service Officer (GSO) in various duties with all section. Under general supervision of the GSO. Incumbent will primarily coordinate real estate and residential property search, inspection and make ready services for Embassy housing pool. Recruitment Of Assistant Community Liaison Office Coordinator

Job Responsibilities

  • The Assistant Community Liaison Coordinator (A/CLO) fully assists the CLO Coordinator in developing and managing a program based on community demographics and post-specific needs.
    He/ She assists in all eight areas of CLO responsibilities as well as providing clerical and administrative support. Job Responsibilities

  • Under the supervision of Information Programs Office, manages all unclassified pouch and diplomatic mail operations at the mailroom, supervising and rating seven (7) Mail Clerks who support all mailroom functions. Recruitment Of Fuel/Vehicle Maintenance Clerk

Job Qualifications

  • Under the direct supervision by motor pool supervisor, job holder measures, received and dispenses fuel, prepares quarterly workload statistics and weekly monthly reports on fuel usage, and enter the daily fuel dispensed into a recommended Fuel Management Information System (FMIS).  Incumbent performs all responsibilities in measuring and dispensing fuel in a manner that will prevent safety and health hazards

Qualifications and Evaluations

  • Two years of dispensing fuel in a large organization and performing administration functions including maintenance of fuel master pump, and daily tasks such as keeping records of GOV maintenance schedules; take inventory of fuel stock and report and discrepancy to the supervisor.

Must have ability to perform basic analysis on frequency of fuel usage and stock; must have the ability to apply fuel level check gauge to determine the amount of fuel stock and daily/monthly fuel usage.

Recruitment Of Carpenter

Job Responsibilities

  • Working in the Facility Management section of the Embassy, the Carpentry Maintenance Worker carries out scheduled and unscheduled preventive maintenance and repair work on finish and interior assemblies, furnishings and fixtures in all mission buildings and facilities including residential owned and leased properties. Job holder would repair, adjust and install doors, windows, hardware, wall, ceiling and floor coverings, sunshades and blinds; fixed furnishings; painting of various surfaces; and replacement specified glazing products with required installation materials.

Job Qualifications

  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in the repair and maintenance of building assemblies, furnishings, and fixture operations.
  • Maintenance and repair of various building finishes and assembles, components, fixtures and furnishings utilizing carpentry and general building construction skill. Job Responsibilities

  • The incumbent performs general skilled painting chores throughout the U.S. Mission. As a journeyman painter, incumbent paints inside and outside of homes and apartments as well as the Chancery. Mixes various paints and colors, treating all surfaces in a precise manner to account for the tropical climate of Ghana. Uses solvents and other equipment to give a proper balance to all products used. Painting projects include, but are not limited to all surfaces, doors, window frames, porches, fences and all inside areas as needed. Job Qualifications
