Details: UCC To Resume Academic Work For Continuing Students
Here is University of Cape Coast (UCC) academic calendar for continuing students. The University of Cape Coast is set to complete its 2019/2020 academic year. The semester came to a halt as a result of COVID-19 pandemic. This posed a great challenge to the smooth running of the semester’s activities.
Students had to stay home and take e-learning lessons. Management has revised the calendar and is ready to receive students in September
Levels 100s will resume on September 1, 2020. During their 23 days stay, they will undertake the following activities. The first two days will have them report to school to continue the semester.
On this day of stay, an orientation programme will be organized. This is to orient them on the safety protocols that need to be observed throughout their stay. Continuous assessment and tutorials will start from August 4, 2020 through till August 11, 2020. The revision will follow afterward for a week. After which they will take the semester’s final examinations. Students will go down on Saturday, 26th September, 2020
The remaining levels will get back on September 29,2020. Thus, levels 200 and 300. Levels 200 and 300 will also follow the same line of activities. Reporting on September 29,2020 and will go down on Saturday, 24th October 2020. During their stay, they will be engaged in an orientation programme, too. This will be from 30th September 2020 to 1st October 2020. Tutorials and continuous assessments will be held a week afterward. The revision will follow right after. Students will take their exams from Thursday, 15th October to Friday, 21st October 2020.
