Kindergarten & Primary Schools Academic Calendar Term 1
- Reopening & Academic activities Date : January 25th to April 16th
- Duration: 62 working days, 14weeks
- Vacation Date: April 15th to May 3rd
Kindergarten & Primary Schools Term 2 Academic Calendar
- Reopening & Academic activities Date : May 4th to August 6th
- Duration: 66 working days, 14weeks
- Vacation Date: August 5th to September 5th
Kindergarten & Primary Schools Term 3 Academic Calendar
- Reopening & Academic activities Date :September 6th to December 10th
- Duration: 68 working days, 14weeks
- Vacation Date: December 11th to January
JHS Academic Calendar
JHS Academic Calendar 1st Semester
- Reopening & Academic activities Date : January 18th to June 11th
- Duration: 100 working days, 25 weeks
- Mid Semester break: March 15th to March 19th
- Vacation: June 12th to July 5th
JHS Academic Calendar 2nd Semester
- Reopening & Academic activities Date : July 6th to December 10th
- Duration: 110 working days ie 23 weeks ( for JHS 1&2 ) & 81days for JHS 3

This is not fair at all. How can jhs students spend almost 6month in school? Even those at the tertiary level do they spend even 4 months in school? This gov’t doesn’t care about teachers and students at all. Both the GES and ministry of education don’t know what they are doing. You treat teachers like trush.Anyway I don’t blame you I the teach unions. They can’t speak for teachers

I don’t think you the NPP and the so called the education minister know what you’re doing about the education system in this country. Do the right thing and stop all these rubbish calendar thing. Our kids need text books not this bad system of governance.
