BECE Results 2024 Release Date
- Marking and release of BECE results takes a maximum of 45 days from when the exams officially ended. Although in some circumstances due to technical challenges, the release of BECE results exceeds the 45 days limit set by WAEC.
- As the BECE Examination ended on 19th November, then 45 days from that period, if everything goes as planed, the BECE results will be released in the second week of January.
- In case of technical challenges such as the current challenges with the SHS Academic Calendar which is likely to affect the BECE Results release, then it will be before the end of February to enable the BECE Graduates to report to school by March.
- As done with previous years, the West African Examination Council uses 45 days to complete marking and coordinating of results BECE applicants.
- The exam papers are sent to the examiners to mark within the first two weeks after the BECE examination.
- The exam papers are then submitted to the chief examiner at the various regional waec centers for verification after marking by the examiners in each region.
- Once the chief examiners verify the results, it is forwarded to the WAEC Headquarters for final verification and release.
- After the verification by the Headquarters, the results are uploaded on the waec results portal for candidates to access.
