• Education Cabinet secretary Hon. Ezekiel Machogu has announced the Form One Selection results for candidates that sat for the recent KCPE exams.
• All eligible candidates have been duly placed into various national, extra county, and county schools across the country.
• The KCPE candidates Form One Selection was based on merit, choice, and availability of space for the students.
• All students, parents, and guardians can now proceed tp access the schools they have been placed in, either online or by sending sms through a USSD code.

How To Check Form One Selection

1. First visit the Form One Selection website here: www.education.go.ke
2. Then click on the Form One School Selection System of your choice ie National schools, Extra-County Schools, County Schools, Sub-County Schools etc
3. The Ministry of Education, Republic of Kenya Form One Selection 2023 portal will be displayed
4. Then select the county and sub-county you sat for KCPE then enter your index number
5. Finally tap the submit to check your Form One Selection

• First open your Messages App on your phone
• Then send an SMS with your KCPE index number to the SMS Number 22263 
• You will receive an SMS notification containing the school you were selected to

Form One Admission Letter Download

1. First visit the Form One Selection website here: www.education.go.ke
2. Then click on the Form One School Selection System of your choice ie National schools, Extra-County Schools, County Schools, Sub-County Schools etc
3. The Ministry of Education, Republic of Kenya Form One Selection 2024 portal will be displayed
4. Then select the county and sub-county you sat for KCPE then enter your index number and Submit.
5. Afterwards click on the “admission letter” link at the bottom of the page to access a copy of your admission letter.
6. Then use the printer icon to print or download a copy of your Form One Admission

What To Do After Downloading Form One Admission Letter

1. First take the Form One Admission Letter to your primary school’s headteacher to endorse the letter and stamp it in the space provided.
2. Then, present the Form One Admission Letter for admission together with a certified copy of your birth certificate when you report to your secondary school

Form One Selection Guidelines

• Note that the checking of Form One Selection by SMS costs 25 shillings
• The SMS Short code works for Safaricom, Airtel, and Telkom networks in kenya.
• Remember to present a stamped calling letter, original birth certificate and a photocopies on the reporting date.
• If you are asked for a .go.ke email address and you you do not have one, contact your headmaster to provide you with one in order to download your admission letter.
