Here is the SSS Self Employed Contribution 2023 Table and how to check your required monthly contribution as a an employee in Philippines.
Every year, the Social Security System publishes a payment plan outlining the mandatory monthly contributions for both workers and employers. Employees are responsible for remitting their monthly contributions either on their own or through their employing organization. The amount of these monthly contributions is determined by the salary bracket of employees.

- For individuals who are self-employed, the lowest monthly contribution is set at PHP 570.00, while the highest allowable monthly contribution is capped at PHP 4,230.00. As per the Social Security Act of 2018, self-employed members are obligated to contribute at a rate of 14%.
- The monthly salary credit for this group ranges from a minimum of 4,000 pesos to a maximum of 30,000 pesos.
- To calculate the Social Security System (SSS) contribution for self-employed members, use the following formula: Multiply the Monthly Salary Credit (MSC) by 14%, and then add Employee Compensation (EC). This total represents the contribution required from self-employed members.”

Members who have already paid their contributions in advance for the applicable months of January 2023 onwards based on the old contribution schedule are advised as follows:
- Those with advance payment at the minimum of ₱3,000.00 shall settle underpayment amounting to ₱170.00 to retain the posting of contributions to the new minimum MSC of ₱4,000.00; otherwise, such advance payment shall be deemed as ineffective contributions; and
- Those with advance payment at an MSC other than the minimum ₱3,000.00 may opt to pay the corresponding increase in contributions to retain posting at the same MSC; otherwise, such advance payment shall be posted at the applicable lower MSC.
