NPF Recruitment Portal Requirements – General Duty
- Applicants must be of Nigerian origin by birth and must possess the National Identification Number (NIN)
- Applicants must possess a minimum of 5 credits in not more than 2 sittings in WAEC/NECO or its equivalent with credit passes in English and Mathematics
- Applicants must be aged between 18-25 years for General Duty
- Applicants must be medically, physically, and psychologically fit and must not be less than 167m tall for male and 1.64m tall for female
- Applicants should not hove less thon 86cm (34 inches) expanded chest measurement (for male only)
- Female Applicants should not be pregnant at the lime of entry.
- Applicants must hove o valid email address and phone number.
- SSCE statements of result or certificates relating lo examinations taken before 2015 will not be accepted.
- Applicants should be free from any financial embarrassment and not convicted of any criminal offence.
NPF Recruitment Portal Requirements – Specialist (Artisan)
- Applicants must be of Nigerian origin by birth and must possess the Nation Identification Number (NIN).
- Applicants must possess o minimum of 4 credits in not more thon 2 sittings in WASSCE/SSCE or Its equivalent with credit passes in English and Mathematics. Medical/Veterinary Assistants must possess a minimum of 5 credits in not mare than 2 sittings in WASSCE/SSCE or its equivalent with credit posses in English and Mathematics while any Certificate In relevant fields will be added advantage.
- Applicants must be aged between 18-28 years
- Applicants must be medically, physically, and psychologically fit and must not be less than 1 67m tall for males and 1 .64m tall for females.
- Applicants should not hove less than 86cm (34 inches) expanded chest measurement (for males only).
- Female Applicants should not be pregnant at the time of entry.
- O’ level statements of result or certificates relating to examinations taken before 2014 will not be accepted.
- Applicants must be free from any financial embarrassment and not convicted of any criminal offence.
NPF Recruitment Portal Documents Required
- Evidence of good character from village/district head of the applicant.
- Indigene Certificate signed by Local Government Chairman a Secretary.
- Educational Qualifications

- Evidence of physical/mental fitness from o government recognized Hospital.
- Guarantor Form endorsed by a Public Servant not below the rank o! GL I3, Police Officer not below the rank of CSP or its equivalent from the Armed Forces and other Paramilitary services.
How to Apply On NPF Recruitment Portal
- To apply for NPF Recruitment, first access the NPF Recruitment portal at www.policerecruitment.gov.ng
- Then complete the NPF Recruitment registration form.
- Afterwards upload scanned copies of your SSCE, Birth and Certificates of Origin.
- Be sure to provide all the necessary documents required for the position you wish to apply.
- Then submit and print out your acknowledgment slip.
- Upon successful submission of the NPF Recruitment registration form, you will receive a confirmation message on your email.
- Finally print your completed online form, guarantor form and submit same during the physical/credentials screening exercise at prescribed centers nationwide.
- Shortlisted candidates will be contacted through Email/SMS.
- Any false information will lead to automatic disqualification.
NPF Recruitment Aptitude Test
- Successful Applicants will be mode to undergo on Aptitude Test (Computer Based), on o date to be communicated later.
NPF Recruitment Screening
- Applicants who scale through the Aptitude Test (Computer Based) will be invited for Automated Physical and Medical Screening at the 17 Police Zonal Medical Centers on a date to be communicated later.
NPF Recruitment Training
- Successful Applicants enlisted into the Nigeria Police Force will undergo Academic and physical training leading to the employment of the successful ones into the Nigeria Police Force as Police Constables (PC).
NPF Recruitment Application Deadline
- The six weeks online application period ends on 26th November 2023
