Storekeeper at Kempinski Hotels
The Engineering Storekeeper is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing supplies and equipment while maintaining accurate inventory records.
This role involves verifying deliveries, ensuring proper storage, and keeping the storerooms organized and secure.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of stock movements and reconcile balances daily.
- Verify received goods against supplier delivery notes.
- Accept deliveries and ensure items are promptly stored in the designated areas.
- Prevent unauthorized access to the receiving area and ensure items are not left unattended.
- Monitor stock levels and notify the purchasing department of low-stock items to prevent shortages.
- Issue supplies to the Engineering Department based on approved requests.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all storage areas.
- Document and review any stock withdrawals made outside of regular hours.
- Ensure storerooms remain secure, well-organized, and properly maintained at all times.
- Assist with other purchasing-related tasks as required by management.
- Report any stock discrepancies or potential issues to the supervisor.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: BSc or HND in Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 1–3 years as an Engineering Storekeeper, preferably in a luxury 5-star hotel.
- Languages: Additional language proficiency is an advantage.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to manage high volumes of stock with precision.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, vendors, and clients.
- Time Management & Organization: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Professionalism: Maintain ethical conduct, confidentiality, and a responsible approach to work.
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to operate mechanical and computer systems, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with materials handling, quality control, and local regulations.
