Details: College of Education Trainees Lament Over Delay In Release Of First Semester Results

College of Education Trainees are questioning the idea behind the delay in the release of their First Semester results whilst their Second Semester begins April 27, 2020.

Some trainees from the Colleges of Educatio0n claimed they are not sure of the possibility of all students being psychologically prepared for their second semester which begins online from Monday, April 27, 2020.

According to the Trainees, delaying the release of results to such an extent was abnormal.

Describing the situation, the trainees said they ended the first semester of the 2019/2020 academic year on 14th February 2020.

The trainees argued that the University of Cape Coast gave them March 30 to release their results of which the University failed them without any explanation either from them or their College authorities.

”We ended the first semester of the 2019/2020 academic year on 14th February 2020.
We were supposed to resume the second semester on 16th March 2020 and unfortunately, this COVID-19 shook up the whole world and everything came to a halt including education.
We, trainees, were anxious for the release of our results the said date stated by UCC, that is 30th March.” They said.

”But up to date, we haven’t been updated on anything regarding the release of our results.
We heard quite ago that, because of the pandemic, the necessary bodies are not able to meet to discuss how and when to release our results.”

The trainees also questioned the exact medium being used by the University to o discuss on how to carry out the E-learning of which they can’t use to discuss our results.

”What medium are they using to discuss on how to carry out the E-learning of which they can’t use to discuss our results.” They asked.

According to the trainees, most of the, have their fate in the results as it helps them to know their stand so that withdrawal doesn’t take them by surprise.

”We, therefore, pleading, if the results can be released so that we will know our stand and how well to prepare this semester.” They said.
