About Civil Defence Shortlist

  • Although, about 1.5 million Nigerians applied for the Civil Defence Recruitment, only 6,500 candidates were shortlisted candidates. Out of the 6,500 shortlisted candidates only 5000 will be selected for the final shortlist.
  • Nigeria Civil Defence would usually contact selected candidates through the contact addresses they used for the registration process however if you are not contacted, you can check the Civil Defence Portal for shortlisted candidates list
  • You also need to check your phone or email regularly to ensure you don’t miss out once the shortlist is finally out.

  • Only candidates who meet the minimum requirements and applied are shortlisted for screening.

  2. Then enter your Phone Number, Email and password to login
  3. After login navigate to the shortlist status section
  4. Your Civil Defence Application Status would be displayed to determine whether you were shortlisted or not

  27. Please, how can one know that one has been shortlisted?
    I found out after registration that I used a wrong email address and I tried correcting it on my portal all to no avail and The portal isn’t opening online too.
