WAEC Results Release Date

Waec Results for WASSCE (November/December) is usually released in December but is subject to change.
Waec Results for: WASSCE (May/June) is usually released in July but is subject to change.

About WASSCE

WASSCE is an acronym for West African Senior School Certificate Examination. It is a standardized test in West Africa, administered by the West African Examinations Council. It is only offered to candidates residing in English speaking West African countries. About BECE (Basic Education Certificate Examination)

BECE is an acronym for Basic Education Certificate Examination is used to give students admission into secondary or vocational schools in Ghana. It is written after three years of junior high school education.
BECE is organized by the Ghana Education Service (GES) in collaboration with the Ministry of Education.

WAEC Results Checker

Here is the step by step guide to access Ghana Waecdirect and check WAEC Results

Step 1

First Open a WEB Browser of your choice (eg Google Chrome).

Step 2

Then enter ” ghana.waecdirect.org” in the address bar

Step 3

In the Menu Click on “Result Checker”

Step 4

Enter your examination information details as required by the Result Checker as follows: Enter Index Number, Select Examination Type from list, Select Examination Year: “ie 2024/2025”, Enter Date Of Birth (WASSCE (PRIVATE) results only!)
Enter your card security information

Step 5

Enter the Serial Number found on the side of your Results WAEC Checker Scratch card and Enter the 12-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your Scratch card eg. 123456789123.

Step 6

Confirm the entered information and Click on Submit
Your WAEC results will then be display in the popup window.
Afterwards print or save the results as PDF

WAEC Results Checker Guidelines

You can check your results up to a maximum of 3 (three) times, for a scratch card.
