Making an Impact

As the leading UN agency dedicated to ensuring every pregnancy is wanted, every childbirth is safe, and every young person’s potential is fulfilled, UNFPA works tirelessly to drive transformative results. The UNFPA Strategic Plan (2022–2025) underscores its ongoing commitment to:

  • Ending preventable maternal deaths.
  • Eliminating unmet needs for family planning.
  • Eradicating gender-based violence and harmful practices.

These priorities align with advancing the ICPD Programme of Action and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as part of the Decade of Action leading to 2030. UNFPA calls on global partners and stakeholders to recover from the setbacks of the COVID-19 pandemic, rebuild progress, and achieve these critical goals.

In today’s world, where fundamental human rights face challenges, UNFPA seeks individuals with unwavering integrity, strong ethical principles, and the courage to champion these standards with conviction.
