The West African Examinations Council in an official release introduced the use of mobile money for the payment of WAEC Private Registration Fees for private candidates’ examinations which includes: WASSCE for Private Candidates and BECE for Private Candidates.

The process was introduced for convenience in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic to allow WASSCE and BECE Candidates register for the examination and make payments without the need to go to the bank. The service is currently available on MTN Mobile Money, AIRTEL Cash, TIGO Cash and VODAFONE Cash payment platforms.

How To Pay For WAEC Private Registration Fees With Mobile Money

After going through the registration process online, Dial *944# to show the WAEC Private Registration Fees Mobile Money payment menu on your smart phone.
Afterwards, select any of the mobile money platforms such as MTN Mobile Money, Vodafone Cash, Tigo Cash etc
Then enter the amount payable
Afterwards enter your mobile money pin code to make payment of your WAEC registration fees.
