About KDF Shortlisted Candidates

• The Kenya Defence Forces would usually contact selected candidates through the contact addresses they used for the registration process
• However if you are not contacted, you can check the KDF Portal for shortlisted candidates list
• You also need to check your phone or email regularly to ensure you don’t miss out once the KDF Final shortlisted candidates is finally out.
• The Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) recently opened recruitment for the following: General Service Officer (GSO) Cadets (Regular and Graduate degree holders), Specialist Officers, General Duty Recruits, Tradesmen/women and Defence Forces Constables, and has therefore shortlisted successful candidates for the next stage of the recruitment process.
• The KDF Recruiting Teams consisting of the Kenya Army, the Kenya Air Force and the Kenya Navy will be visiting the stated recruitment Centres on the dates indicated below to recruit General Service Officer (GSO) Cadets, General Service Officer Cadets – Graduate degree holders, General Duty Recruits and Defence Forces Constabulary.

KDF Shortlisted Candidates Screening / Interviews Centers

Shortlisted Specialist Officers and Tradesmen/women are to report for interviews as below

• a. Tradesmen/women to report to Embakasi Garrison – Nairobi, on Monday 25 September 2023 at 0800 hrs (8.00 am).
• b. Specialist Officer candidates to report to KMA – Lanet, Nakuru on Monday 16 October 2023 at 0800 hrs (8.00 am).

KDF Shortlisted Candidates

• Only candidates who met the minimum requirements and applied for the KDF recruitment are shortlisted for screening on the KDF Recruitment Portal.

How To Check KDF Shortlisted Candidates

1. To check KDF Shortlisted Names, first visit the KDF portal login: www.mod.go.ke or https://applications.mod.go.ke/
2. Then enter your Phone Number, Email and password to login
3. After login navigate to the shortlist status section
4. Your KDF Shortlisted Status would be displayed to determine whether you were shortlisted or not

KDF Shortlisted Candidates Required Documents For Interview

• All candidates MUST bring with them Original National Identity (ID) Card and four copies of their Academic, Professional Certificates, Curriculum Vitae and any other Testimonials.

KDF Shortlisted Candidates Guidelines

• Feeding and accommodation will be provided during the period of interview.
• Unsuccessful candidates will be reimbursed road traveling expenses in accordance with KDF Regulations.
• Candidates are advised to carry with them warm clothing
