The National Identification Authority (NIA) has officially extended the issuance of the NIA Ghana Card . This was made known on the official social media handles of the National Identification Authority. The statement reads as follows:

EXTENSION OF CARD ISSUANCE IN SELECTED DISTRICTS

The National Identification Authority (NIA) announces for the information of the general public that its Card Issuance Exercise scheduled to end on Tuesday 23rd June 2020 has been extended to Saturday 27th June 2020 in Districts that received their card issuance albums late. The affected Districts are listed below:

1. Adansi South (New Edubiase) – All Centres
2. Asante Akim Central – All Centres
3. Afigya Kwabre South – All Centres
4. Asante Akyem North – All Centres
5. Atwima Kwanwoma – All Centres
6. Afigya Kwabre North – All Centres
7. Sene West – All Centres
8. Sene East – All Centres
9. Asokore Mampomg – 31 Centres only
10. Krachi East – 16 Centres only
11. Akatsi South – 10 Centres only
12. Asokwa – 4 Centres only
13. Adansi South (Akrofrom) – 1 Centre only

Applicants who are yet to collect their Ghana cards are entreated to go to the Respective Card Issuance Centres for their cards
