The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) invites applications from suitably qualified Nigerians for enlistment into the Agency.

The online application is open for a period of four weeks from 12th April for  Interested applicants to log on to the NDLEA online recruitment portal 2025 at www.ndlea.gov.ng and complete the application.

• NDLEA means National Drug Law Enforcement Agency. NDLEA came into existence under the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency Act, Cap N30, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004.
• NDLEA is charged with eliminating the production, processing, trafficking, selling and abuse of hard drugs in the country.

NDLEA Recruitment General Requirements 2025

1. You must be of Nigerian origin by birth and possess national identification number (NIN), computer literacy shall be an advantage for all cadres
2. If your certificate or qualification is not declared or tendered and accepted at the time of recruitment it cannot be presented subsequently for career progression in the Agency.
3. You must be medically fit and must produce a certificate of medical fitness from a government hospital.
4. You must not be less than 20 years or more than 35 years of age for the first category while the age limit for the second and third categories is 30 years and not less than 1 8 years at the point of entry. However, 40 years will be considered for Medical Doctors and Articulated Vehicle Drivers.
5. Your height must not be less than I. 65 meters for mal e and I .60 meters for female.
6. Medical and Allied professionals must possess current practicing licenses while Lawyers must have been called to Bar.
7. You must be drug free and also be of good character and must not have been convicted of any criminal offence.

NDLEA Recruitment Requirements 2025

Superintendent Cadre (General Duties or Specialists) Requirements

1. Assistant Superintendent of Narcotics Il – CONPASS (08): You must possess first Degree/HND in any discipline from a recognized institution of learning and NYSC Discharge Certificate exemption Certificate.
2. Deputy Superintendent of Narcotics (CONPASS 10): Applicant with MBBS or DVM on successful completion of training shall be granted the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Narcotics (CONPASS 10).
3. Assistant Superintendent of Narcotics I (CONPASS 9): Applicant with LLB, BL, B.Eng (with COREN), B.Pharm, etc, on successful completion of training shall be granted the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Narcotics 1 (CONPASS 9).

Narcotic Agent Cadre Requirements

1. Chief Narcotic Agent – CONPASS (07): You must possess a Nigerian Certificate of Education, registered nurses and midwives, Pharmacy technicians, lab technicians, dental technicians, or its equivalent from a recognized institution of learning.
2. Senior Narcotic Agent – CONPASS (06):  You must possess a National Diploma (ND) or its equivalent from a recognized institution of learning.
3. Narcotic Agent – CON PASS (05). You must possess 5 Credits in SSCE/GCE/NABTEB including English and Mathematics.

Narcotic Assistant Cadre Requirements

1. Narcotic I – CON PASS (04): You must possess at least 4 Credits in SSCE/GCE/NABTEB including Mathematics or English Language.
2. Narcotic Assistant Il – CONPASS (03). You must possess at least 3 credits in SSCE/GCE/NABTEB including Mathematics or English Language.
3. Artisans, Mechanics, Drivers C leaners/Gardeners etc: You must provide evidence of completion of secondary school or Trade Test Grade Il or Ill

How To Apply For NDLEA Recruitment 2025

1. First visit the NDLEA Recruitment portal 2025 at www.ndlea.gov.ng or www.recruitment.ndlea.gov.ng 
2. Then click on Careers and read through the instructions carefully.
3. Afterwards click on Apply Now to register.
4. Afterwards the account sign up page will display
5. Proceed to fill the NDLEA registration form with the right details to register
6. Then login with the account you created and apply for a desired position
7. You will be redirected to a page for the categories (select from list of categories)
8. Then Fill out the NDLEA recruitment form 2025 and ensure all required documents listed below are uploaded:

• (1) Passport Photograph.
• (2) Educational Certificates.
• (3) Certificate of State of Origin.
• (4) Birth Certificate/l)eclaration of Age.
• (5) National Identity Card.
• (6) NYSC Discharge/Exemption Certificate.

5. You must print out your online generated slip on completion of your application.
6. You must print out your online generated photo-slip on completion and download referee forms to be completed by two (2) persons of reputable standing in the society as stipulated on the form when coming for the screening/interview.
7. Successful candidates will be required to fill further vetting forms.
8. All successful candidates will be subjected to random illicit drug use test throughout their service in the Agency.
9. Note that only shortlisted applicants shall be invited for further examination and interview.
