About the 2023 GES Official Calendar

• The Ghana Education Service (GES) in collaboration with the Ministry of Education has released the Academic Calendar for Senior High School (SHS), Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) and Basic Schools.
• This comes after the release of the Transitional Academic Calendar

• Form 2 students will go on break from 18^th Feb,2023 To 10th April,2023

• Form 3 students will reopen from break on 17th April ,2023 and be in school to 1^st June, 2023

• KG, Basic, JHS 2 students 1st Term Reopening Date is 10^th Jan 2023 and will be in school to 24^th March,2023

Basic Schools 1st Term Vacation Date – (KG, Basic, JHS 2) 

• KG, Basic, JHS 2 1st Term Vacation Date is 25^th March and will be in school to 2^nd April,2023
