Police Recruitment Portal Requirements – General Duty

  • Prospective candidates must be Nigerian citizens by birth and possess a National Identification Number (NIN).
  • Candidates are to have a minimum of 5 credits in WAEC/NECO or their equivalent, obtained in a maximum of 2 sittings, with these credits including passes in both English and Mathematics.
  • General Duty applicants should be within the age range of 18 to 25 years.
  • All candidates should meet the specified medical, physical, and psychological fitness standards.
  • Male candidates must have a minimum height of 167cm, while female candidates should be at least 1.64m tall. Male applicants must also have a chest measurement of not less than 86cm (34 inches).
  • Female applicants should not be pregnant at the time of application.
  • Candidates are required to provide a valid email address and phone number for communication purposes. Statements of results or certificates from SSCE examinations taken before 2015 will not be considered.
  • Additionally, candidates should have a clean financial record and should not have a history of criminal convictions.

 

Police Recruitment Portal Requirements – Specialist (Artisan)

  1. Potential candidates are expected to be Nigerian citizens by birth and possess the National Identification Number (NIN).
  2. Candidates are required to have at least 4 credits in a maximum of 2 sittings in WASSCE/SSCE or their equivalent, with credit passes in both English and Mathematics.
  3. Medical/Veterinary Assistants, on the other hand, should have a minimum of 5 credits in a maximum of 2 sittings in WASSCE/SSCE or an equivalent, including credit passes in English and Mathematics. Holding a certificate in relevant fields would be an advantageous factor.
  4. Candidates must be within the age bracket of 18-28 years.
  5. They must meet specific health criteria, encompassing medical, physical, and psychological fitness, with a minimum height requirement of 1.67m for males and 1.64m for females.
  6. Male candidates must possess an expanded chest measurement of no less than 86cm (34 inches).
  7. Female candidates must not be pregnant during the application process.
  8. It’s important to note that O’ level statements of results or certificates from examinations taken before 2014 will not be considered. Candidates are also expected to maintain a sound financial record and should not have any prior criminal convictions.

How to Apply On Police Recruitment Portal 

  1. To initiate the NPF Recruitment application process, visit the Nigeria Police recruitment portal located at www.policerecruitment.gov.ng.
  2. Subsequently, complete the registration form for NPF Recruitment.
  3. Then, upload scanned copies of your SSCE, Birth, and Certificates of Origin.
  4. Be sure to include all the requisite documents specific to the position you are applying for.
  5. Then, submit your application, and don’t forget to print your acknowledgment slip.
  6. Once you’ve successfully submitted the NPF Recruitment registration form, you will receive a confirmation message via email.
  7. It’s essential to print both your completed online form and the guarantor form, which you will need to submit during the physical/credentials screening process at designated centers nationwide.
  8. Notifications for shortlisted candidates will be conveyed through email or SMS.
  9. It’s crucial to bear in mind that providing false information will lead to immediate disqualification.
