How to Apply On Nigeria Police Recruitment Portal 

1. To begin the application process for NPF Recruitment, access the Police recruitment portal at www.policerecruitment.gov.ng.
2. Then, fill out the registration form for NPF Recruitment. Afterwards, upload scanned versions of your SSCE, Birth, and Certificates of Origin.
3. Ensure to provide all the necessary documents specific to the position you are seeking. Following this, submit your application and remember to print your acknowledgment slip.
4. Upon successful submission of the NPF Recruitment registration form, you will receive a confirmation message via email.

Nigeria Police Recruitment Portal Requirements – General Duty

• Potential candidates need to be born Nigerian citizens and possess a National Identification Number (NIN).
• Candidates should secure a minimum of 5 credits in WAEC/NECO or their equivalent, acquired within a maximum of 2 sittings, with these credits encompassing passes in both English and Mathematics.
• For General Duty roles, candidates should fall within the age bracket of 18 to 25 years.
• All candidates are required to meet the prescribed medical, physical, and psychological fitness criteria. Male candidates should have a minimum height of 167cm, while female candidates should have a minimum height of 1.64m.
• Male applicants should also possess a chest measurement of not less than 86cm (34 inches). Female candidates should not be pregnant during the application phase.
• Candidates need to furnish a valid email address and phone number for communication purposes.
• Academic statements or certificates from SSCE exams taken prior to 2015 will not be reviewed. Furthermore, candidates should maintain a clean financial record and should not have a history of criminal convictions.

Nigeria Police Recruitment Portal Requirements – Specialist (Artisan)

1. Prospective candidates should be citizens of Nigeria by birth and possess a National Identification Number (NIN).
2. Candidates must possess a minimum of 4 credits in a maximum of 2 sittings in WASSCE/SSCE or their equivalent, with credit passes in both English and Mathematics.
3. In the case of Medical/Veterinary Assistants, a minimum of 5 credits in a maximum of 2 sittings in WASSCE/SSCE or its equivalent is required, including credit passes in English and Mathematics. Possession of a certificate in relevant fields would be advantageous.
4. Candidates need to fall within the age range of 18-28 years.
5. They should meet specific health criteria, covering medical, physical, and psychological fitness, with a minimum height requirement of 1.67m for males and 1.64m for females.
6. Male candidates should have an expanded chest measurement of no less than 86cm (34 inches). Female candidates should not be pregnant during the application process.
7. It’s worth mentioning that O’ level statements of results or certificates from exams taken before 2014 will not be entertained.
8. Candidates are also required to maintain a good financial record and should not have any previous criminal convictions.
