Responsibilities

  • Address guest inquiries, issues, or requests by liaising with the relevant departments (e.g., Sales, Data Administration, Accounting). Employ effective sales strategies to enhance revenue while fostering guest loyalty to Marriott, including offering upgrades.
  • Provide complimentary items, such as rewards points, show tickets, or gift certificates, as tokens of appreciation. Actively promote the brand’s image both internally and externally.
  • Manage requests for redeeming Marriott Rewards points and process reservations, modifications, or cancellations received via phone, fax, or mail.
  • Accurately enter Marriott Rewards details into the system when handling reservations. Respond to guest calls, queries, or concerns professionally while maintaining records. Perform administrative tasks for Sales & Marketing, including filing, sending emails, and typing documents.
  • Support management by assisting in employee training and motivation and acting as a role model. Adhere to company policies, maintain professional attire and confidentiality, and safeguard company assets.
  • Greet all guests warmly in line with company standards, anticipate their needs, and express genuine gratitude for their patronage. Communicate clearly and professionally in person, over the phone, and in writing. Foster positive workplace relationships and collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve common goals.
  • Monitor others to ensure quality standards are met. Handle physical tasks like moving or lifting items under 10 pounds. Fulfill any additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
  • Work Experience: Minimum of two years in a related role.
  • Supervisory Experience: Not required.
  • Licenses or Certifications: None needed.
