Responsibilities
- Collaborate with relevant departments (e.g., Sales, Data Administration, Accounting) to address guest inquiries, requests, or issues.
- Employ effective sales techniques to boost revenue while fostering guest loyalty to Marriott, including upselling opportunities.
- Offer complimentary gifts, such as reward points, show tickets, or gift certificates, as a gesture of appreciation for guest patronage.
- Enhance brand image both internally and externally. Handle Marriott Rewards redemption requests and process all reservation-related tasks, including changes, cancellations, and new bookings received via phone, fax, or mail.
- Accurately input Marriott Rewards details during guest reservations. Respond to and document guest calls, inquiries, and concerns. Support the Sales & Marketing team through general office tasks, such as filing, sending emails, typing, and faxing.
- Assist management in training and motivating employees and serve as a role model.
- Comply with company policies, maintain a professional appearance, safeguard proprietary information, and protect company assets.
- Greet and acknowledge guests following company standards, anticipate their needs, and express genuine gratitude for their business.
- Communicate professionally, review documents for accuracy, and use appropriate telephone etiquette.
- Build positive relationships with colleagues, contribute to team objectives, and address team concerns appropriately.
- Oversee the performance of others to meet quality standards.
- Verify information across various formats and perform job-related physical tasks, such as lifting objects up to 10 pounds.
- Execute other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a related field.
- Supervisory Experience: Not required.
- License/Certification: None.
