About SHS Reopening Date

Students, staff, parents and the general public should note that according to the GES academic calendar
Senior High Schools are to resume on the specified dates. Consequently, Heads of Basic schools should be aware that the reopening date for primary and Junior High schools is as outlined below. It is important for students, staff, and the general public to be aware of this information.

SHS 1st Semester Reopening Date

Form 3 students in Transitional Calendar Schools will reopen on 3rd January, 2025
Form 2 students in Transitional Calendar Schools will reopen on 30th October, 2024
Form 1 students in Transitional Calendar Schools reopens on 30th October, 2024

SHS 2nd Semester Reopening Date

Form 3 students in Transitional Calendar Schools will reopen on 23rd April, 2025
Form 2 students in Transitional Calendar Schools will reopen on 10th February, 2025
Form 1 students in Transitional Calendar Schools will reopen on 26^th May, 2025

SHS Single Track 1st Semester Reopening Date

Form 3 students will reopen on 30th October, 2024
Form 2 students will reopen on 30th October, 2024
Form 1 students will reopen on 30th October, 2024

SHS Single Track 2nd Semester Reopening Date

Form 3 2nd Semester will commence on 30th March, 2025
Form 2 2nd Semester will commence on 30th March, 2025
