New Reopening Date & Calendar For SHS Students

Management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) has adjusted the academic calendar , reopening & vacation dates for Senior High Schools (SHS) for the Academic Year and wishes to inform all Heads of Schools staff, students and parents to take note.

About GES SHS Reopening Date & Academic Calendar

Regional Directors of Education & Heads of Senior High Schools  are by this letter informed to take note and communicate same to students and parents.

Additionally, Heads of SHS running Double Track for Form 1s are to, as a matter of urgency, communicate to all parents about the designated tracks for their wards to enable them plan .

Below are the reopening and vacation dates for the various cohorts of students.

 

New Reopening Date & Calendar For SHS Students

Below are the reopening and vacation dates for the various tracks of students in all double track schools:

  1. SHS Form 1 Green Students are reopening on Wednesday 1st September
  2. SHS Form 2 Gold Students are reopening on Wednesday 1st September
  3. SHS Form 1 Gold Students are reopening on Saturday 28th August
  4. SHS Form 2 Green Students are reopening on Saturday 28th August
  5. SHS Form 1 Gold Students are reopening on Sunday 10th October
  6. SHS Form 2 Green Students are reopening on Saturday 30th October
