SLTF Laptop And Smartphone Scheme For All Tertiary Institutions

The SLTF Student Laptop & Smartphone Loan Program has officially been launched this includes a Smartphone Scheme as well For All Tertiary Institutions (Both private and public) in Ghana to apply for a laptop and smartphone as part of their student loan.

The SLTF Student Laptop & Smartphone is accessible to students on student loan, interested applicants are to visit the Student Loan Trust Fund website at www.sltf.gov.gh or follow the stated procedures below.

About SLTF Student Laptop & Smartphone

  • The SLTF Student Laptop & Smartphone is part of the normal loan. The cost of the laptop is a portion of the student loan amount.
  • After making your request, you will be notified through text message when and where to pick up your machine. It would normally be at your zone or campus office.
  • The Student Laptop & Smartphone has warranty which covers the hardware, faulty screen, battery, faulty camera and keyboard.
  • There is no limit on the number of devices you can request, so long as it can be covered by your loan amount.
  • You will be notified of the cost of the each devices at the time of applying.
  • The SLTF Student Laptop & Smartphone is part of the loan you applied for, so it is subject to the same repayment conditions as the normal loan.

 

How To Apply For SLTF laptop Scheme

  1. First visit the Student Laptop Scheme portal at: SLTF Laptop Scheme
  2. Then Download the laptop request form from the SLTF website stated above ie (www.sltf.gov.gh)
  3. Afterwards fill it and present it to your SLTF campus office.
  4. Finally, you will be notified in person at the office or by text message detailing when and where to pick up your laptop

 

How To Apply For SLTF Smartphone Scheme

  1. First visit the Student Smartphone Scheme portal at: SLTF Smartphone Scheme
  2. Then Download the Smartphone request form from the SLTF website stated above ie (www.sltf.gov.gh)
  3. Afterwards fill it and present it to your SLTF campus office.
  4. Finally, you will be notified in person at the office or by text message detailing when and where to pick up your smartphone

And after you fill it too.Unless we submit it to our various school.Which is much hectic this time of pandemic.I can’t leave western to eastern only to submit the forms without getting the gadget at that time. I think the filling of the form would have been online and submitted online. In other to make things easy for us.Please

My transportation alone is a problem ,both in and out.I suggests the models of the gadget should all be posted online,prices, so that we go through and fill the forms through online too.Then we submit it.Like how the admission form is done.The idea of helping students with these machines is most welcomed but the process is quite slow and difficult in this time of pandemic. Opening the forms in a PDF format ,is something else,I don’t know weather my phone ,or I can’t operate it. but am not able to fill it there whenever am trying to use the tools by adding text in other to fill the forms ,it will be giving me commands that go to premium and pay some amount and staff.Don’t even know what to do self.
