UTAG Strike Update Today

Court has Ordered UTAG To SuspendĀ  the ongoing Strike. This comes after the National Labour Commission (NLC) succeeded in securing an injunction on the strike by the University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG).

UTAG Strike Update Today –Ā  Court Orders UTAG To Suspend Strike

  • The injunction application was granted by the Labour Division of the Accra High Court today, Tuesday, 15 February 2022.
  • The court, presided over by Justice Frank Aboadwe Rockson, halted the strike which is currently in its fifth week.
  • This means the lecturers must return to the lecture halls to teach.
  • UTAG has been on strike demanding better conditions of service.
  • The University lecturers have accused the government and the NLC of not having the interest of the university teachers at heart.

  1. Is very bad and leading to a poor education system in Ghana who we the students are uncertain with how our educational career going to end. I sometimes think of ignoring school and involve myself in a serious fraud activities. Is too abysmal, students are gnashing šŸ„¶šŸ„¶šŸ„µ
