Warehouse Technician II at Newmont Corporation

Newmont is looking for a Warehouse Officer responsible for receiving, storing, assembling, packing, and issuing goods from the warehouse.

The role also involves maintaining inventory, managing stock movement, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Safety & Compliance

Follow all warehousing and materials control regulations.
Ensure warehouse operations align with Newmont’s safety culture.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Inventory & Stock Management

Track receipts, records, and withdrawals of stored items.
Conduct regular stock checks and report low inventory levels.
Handle stock receipt, unpacking, and distribution of materials.
Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, telehandlers, and reach stackers.
Hold a valid Ghanaian driver’s license (Class E).

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

Educational Background

Minimum Senior High School Certificate, with proficiency in Mathematics and English.

Additional Knowledge & Experience

2 to 4 years of experience in warehouse operations.
Understanding of maintenance planning and supply chain processes.
Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse management in the mining sector.

Technical & Behavioral Skills

Strong communication and writing skills.
Basic proficiency in computer applications.
A customer-focused, safety-conscious, and proactive approach.
Ability to work independently and deliver results.

Work Location & Conditions

This role is based at the Ahafo North mine site.
