College Of Education Admission List Release Date

According to reliable sources from the colleges of education, it has been disclosed that the roadmap for the admissions is as follows:

• 20th November: Display of 1st Choice Applicants
• 4th December: Deadline for payment of Admission fees by 1st Choice Applicants
• 9th-18th December: Display of 2nd Choice Applicants
• 21st December: Deadline for payment of Admission fees by 2nd Choice Applicants
• Other supplementary lists can be displayed anytime after 21st December if there the need.
• The Ministry of Education in collaboration with the Conference of Principals of Colleges of Education (PRINCOF) has revealed that qualified or selected applicants will be reporting as First-Year students on Saturday, January 8, 2022.
• This will enable the various college affiliates (universities) to conduct re-sit examinations for continuing students and for new admissions to cover the current graduating cohort of Senior High School students.

Colleges Of Education Reopening Date

Students in the various Colleges of Education/Teacher Training Colleges in Ghana are expected to report to their campuses after the Ministry of Education approved the proposed academic calendar for the Academic Year.

Trainees are expected to return to campus complete a fourteen-week duration of studies. Therefore continuing students are to report to the school on Saturday, November 6th. However, the Ministry of Education has revealed that the calendar may be subjected to adjustment when the need arises.

Students are therefore urged to take note of the changes in the academic calendar and observe it as such. Rumors regarding the drastic reduction of intake by the colleges of education for the academic year, the MOE has cautioned Colleges not to accept fresh admissions that exceed the numbers that were admitted in the previous Year. This means that their members that were admitted last year will not be increased nor decreased.
