Teacher Trainees Allowance Payment Date & Schedule
As stated by the Ministry of Education, the six-months allowance arrears due teacher trainees will be paid in full by September.
This is as made known by the Public Relations Officer (PRO) for the Ministry of Education, Akwasi Kwarteng, on Nhyira FM’s Kuro Yi Mu Nsem show.

About Teacher Trainees Allowance Payment
Students at the various Teacher Training Colleges in have not been paid for the past six months, Each student is therefore due a monthly allowance of GHS400, with GHS 196 for feeding and the remaining for upkeep.
Although the ministry assured them of payment in July, it wasn’t paid.

It’s not a disgrace, but 2024 is just at the corner
So will the government pay us our allowance
Please tell us if the allowance has been cancelled so some of us can go and borrow to pay our fees
