The Police Recruitment Board has introduced the Police Recruitment Portal for the recruitment year 2025/2026, and it can be accessed at www.apply.policerecruitment.gov.ng. How to Apply On Police Recruitment Portal 

1. To begin the NPF Recruitment application procedure, start by visiting the official Police recruitment portal at www.policerecruitment.gov.ng.
2. Next, fill out the registration form for NPF Recruitment. Afterward, upload scanned copies of your SSCE, Birth, and Certificates of Origin.
3. Make sure to include all the required documents relevant to the position you are applying for.
4. Then, submit your application, and be sure to print your acknowledgment slip.
5. Upon successful submission of the NPF Recruitment registration form, you will receive a confirmation message via email.
6. It is crucial to print both your completed online form and the guarantor form, which you will need to submit during the physical/credentials screening process at designated centers nationwide.
7. Shortlisted candidates will be notified through email or SMS. It’s important to keep in mind that providing false information will result in immediate disqualification.

Police Recruitment Portal Requirements – General Duty

1. Prospective candidates must be Nigerian citizens by birth and hold a National Identification Number (NIN).
2. Candidates are expected to possess a minimum of 5 credits in WAEC/NECO or an equivalent qualification, achieved in a maximum of 2 sittings.
3. These credits must encompass passes in both English and Mathematics. For General Duty positions, candidates should fall within the age range of 18 to 25 years.
4. All candidates need to meet the specified standards for medical, physical, and psychological fitness.
5. Male candidates should have a minimum height of 167cm, and female candidates must be at least 1.64m tall.
6. Male applicants must also have a chest measurement of no less than 86cm (34 inches).
7. Female candidates should not be pregnant at the time of application.
8. Candidates are required to provide a valid email address and phone number for communication purposes.
9. Statements of results or certificates from SSCE examinations taken before 2015 will not be accepted. Furthermore, candidates should have a clean financial record and no history of criminal convictions.

Police Recruitment Portal Requirements – Specialist (Artisan)

1. Prospective candidates should be Nigerian citizens by birth and hold the National Identification Number (NIN).
2. Candidates must have a minimum of 4 credits, obtained within a maximum of 2 sittings in WASSCE/SSCE or an equivalent, with credit passes in both English and Mathematics.
3. For Medical/Veterinary Assistants, they should secure a minimum of 5 credits in a maximum of 2 sittings in WASSCE/SSCE or its equivalent, with credit passes in English and Mathematics. Possessing a certificate in relevant fields would be an added advantage.
4. Candidates should fall within the age range of 18-28 years. They must meet specific health criteria, including medical, physical, and psychological fitness, with a minimum height requirement of 1.67m for males and 1.64m for females.
5. Male candidates should have an expanded chest measurement of no less than 86cm (34 inches).
6. Female candidates should not be pregnant during the application process.
7. Please be aware that O’ level statements of results or certificates from exams taken before 2014 will not be accepted.
8. Candidates are also expected to maintain a clean financial record and should not have any prior criminal convictions.

Police Recruitment Portal Documents Required

• Birth Certificates/Declaration of Age
• Indigene Certificate signed by Local Government Chairman a Secretary.
• Educational Qualifications
• Evidence of physical/mental fitness from o government recognized Hospital.
• Evidence of good character from village/district head of the applicant.
• Guarantor Form endorsed by a Public Servant not below the rank o! GL I3, Police Officer not below the rank of CSP or its equivalent from the Armed Forces and other Paramilitary services.

• The six weeks online application period ends on 26th November 2023, prospective applicants are required to complete the online application forms and submit them within the specified period.
