About MOD Shortlisted Candidates

• The Kenya Defence Forces typically contact chosen candidates using the contact details provided during the registration process. If you do not receive any communication, you can check the KDF Portal to access the list of shortlisted candidates. Additionally, it’s crucial to regularly monitor your phone and email for updates regarding the final list of KDF shortlisted candidates.
• Recently, the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) initiated recruitment for various positions, including General Service Officer (GSO) Cadets for both regular and graduate degree holders, Specialist Officers, General Duty Recruits, Tradesmen/women, and Defence Forces Constables. As a result, successful candidates have been chosen to proceed to the next phase of the recruitment process.
• The KDF Recruiting Teams, comprising the Kenya Army, the Kenya Air Force, and the Kenya Navy, will be present at the specified recruitment centers on the designated dates to enlist General Service Officer (GSO) Cadets, General Service Officer Cadets with graduate degrees, General Duty Recruits, and Defence Forces Constabulary.

Shortlisted Candidates Screening / Interviews Centers

Selected Specialist Officers and Tradesmen/women for interviews should follow the schedule provided below:

• a. Tradesmen/women are expected to attend interviews at Embakasi Garrison – Nairobi, on Monday, 25th September, at 0800 hrs (8.00 am).
• b. Specialist Officer candidates should attend interviews at KMA – Lanet, Nakuru, on Monday, 16th October, at 0800 hrs (8.00 am).

Shortlisted Candidates

• Only candidates who fulfilled the specified requirements and completed their applications for KDF recruitment are chosen for evaluation on the KDF Recruitment Portal.“

How To Check MOD Shortlisted Candidates

1. To check MOD Shortlisted Candidates Names, first visit the KDF portal login: www.mod.go.ke or https://applications.mod.go.ke/
2. Then enter your Phone Number, Email and password to login
3. After login navigate to the shortlist status section
4. Your KDF Shortlisted Status would be displayed to determine whether you were shortlisted or not

Required Documents For Interview

• All candidates MUST bring the following documents Original National Identity (ID) Card and four copies of their Academic, Professional Certificates, Curriculum Vitae and any other Testimonials.

Guidelines

• During the interview, nourishment and lodging will be supplied.
• Candidates who are not successful will receive reimbursement for their travel expenses by following KDF Regulations.
• Candidates should bring warm clothing with them.
