The Ghana Education Service (GES) has finally directed its Directors of Education to grant the Ghana Statistical Service (GSS) access to some basic school facilities to enable them to train field Officers for upcoming enumeration exercise.

About GES Training Centers

This is as stated in a letter signed by the Deputy Director-General of the Ghana Education Service, Dr. Kwabena Bempah Tandoh indicates that as part of the preparation for the 2021 Population and Housing Census, the Ghana Statistical Service (GSS) will be training Field Personnel from Monday, 31″ May to Wednesday, June 2021. GES Training Centres

All Regional Directors of Education are therefore to inform Metro, Municipal & District Directors of Education to grant the Ghana Statistical Service Officials access to some Basic Schools facilities to enable them to train field personnel for the 2021 Population and Housing Census.

The GES has also instructed Heads of selected Basic Schools within the respective Districts to adhere to the above directive.

On 27th may , 2021 at 8:50am I received a call from the census office of the Akatsi South Municipality requesting from me to send mono before he sends me a message on the training which I have qualified after the interview. I asked him to tell me his momo name so as to send him the money, then he told me it’s OK. Then I told if he refused to give me his name I will expose him. I then forwarded the number to one of the interviewers. Up to today no reply was given and because I didn’t sent the mono, my name was deleted. Mmm. This the Ghana? Bribery and corruption everywhere?

Please l was called to register for the training on Monday 31st June, 2021 at Shama District Assambly and l was given a class all of a sudden l was told that they are not going to accept all of us so they are to conduct an examination not knowing the MP has brought his people to be train for PHC so l have been removed out from GSS shortlist. I had a message to register for G money at GCB nearest me. Pls do something about for me. Thank you.
