About Civil Service Recruitment

The Ghana civil service recruits staff to assist the Government of Ghana in the formulation and implementation of government policies for the development. The Civil Service performs the following functions as mandated by the PNDC Law 32:

1. The OHCS Initiates and formulates policies for consideration by government and advises government
2. The civil service Undertakes research to aide the effective implementation of government policies
3. The civil service Implements, Reviews, Monitor, co-ordinate and evaluates  government policies
4. The civil service Performs other functions as directed by the Executive branch of government.
5. The OHCS is In charge over all Civil Servants and Ensures efficiency of the service
6. The OHCS determines and advises on manpower limits for the service.

Civil Service Online Graduate Recruitment Application

All graduates who seek an opportunity to join the Civil Service are required to apply through the Civil Service Recruitment portal or by following the application process stated below

1. First visit the Civil Service Recruitment Portal:  https://ohcsghana.com.
2. Then click on the “New Applicant” button to create an account
3. If you already have an account, click just on the “Existing Applicant” button
4. Afterwards login with your email and password you created earlier to login
5. After login fill the www ohcs gov gh Application Form and click the submit button
6. You can as well visit the Ghana civil service official website www.ohcs.gov.gh
7. Then click on navigation and click on the ‘Applications’ tap then click on the ‘Recruitment’ link to access the the application form.
