About BECE School Selection Verification & Confirmation
As part of measures to ensure a smooth BECE School Placement this year, the CSSPS Secretariat has made available the choices of schools selected by the 2021 BECE Candidates through bulk SMS, USSD messaging and online for verification and confirmation.
Parents, candidates and teachers are to note that a bulk SMS of the schools selected will be sent to the contact numbers provided by candidates during the school selection.
BECE Candidates are to check and immediately notify their various Heads of schools of any error found for corrections to be made.
Apart from the bulk messages that would be sent to all contacts, parents and candidates can also dial *899*88# and follow the instructions to verify choices made via USSD.

My ward’s name is Korese William Asaliwe. He is a 2021 BECE candidate. His index number is 0826017046 and his school is Kanvili R/C School Complex in Tamale Metropolis in the Northern Region.
The School Selection Verification and Confirmation gave him 5332 as his student code when I dialed the short-code *899*88#. When I went further in the process, using the Student Code 5332, the name that appeared is Balbulee Gregory with index number 0004053002 of Nyamkuri M/A JHS of Jirapa District in the Upper West Region. The other information concerning schools selected is very different from what he has chosen.
I tried many times on the two main communication networks – Vodafone and MTN but with the same result.
Can there be any help for us, Please?
