About Civil Service Recruitment

The Ghana Civil Service recruits personnel to support the Government of Ghana in developing and executing governmental policies for national progress. The Civil Service is entrusted with the following responsibilities as outlined in PNDC Law 32:

The OHCS initiates and formulates policies for government consideration, providing advice as needed.
The Civil Service conducts research to enhance the effective implementation of government policies.
It implements, reviews, monitors, coordinates, and evaluates government policies.
The Civil Service carries out additional functions as directed by the Executive branch of government.
The OHCS oversees all Civil Servants and ensures the efficiency of the service.
The OHCS determines and provides guidance on manpower limits within the service.

Civil Service Online Graduate Recruitment Application

All individuals holding a degree who are interested in joining the Civil Service must submit their applications either through the Civil Service Recruitment portal or by adhering to the outlined application procedure below.

“Begin by accessing the Civil Service Recruitment Portal at : https://ohcsghana.com .
Next, select the ‘New Applicant’ button to establish an account.
If you already have an account, simply click on the ‘Existing Applicant’ button. Subsequently, log in using the email and password you previously created.
Once logged in, complete the www ohcs gov gh Application Form and click the submit button.
Alternatively, you can visit the official website of the Ghana Civil Service website www.ohcs.gov.gh Navigate to the ‘Applications’ section and select the ‘Recruitment’ link to access the application form.”
