Deadline For Free SHS Scholarship Extended

The Ghana Scholarship Secretariat Scholarship For SHS Graduates has been extended. Based on delays in the issuance of admission letters for the 2020 WASSCE graduates, the Ghana Scholarships Secretariat in consultation with the Ministry of Education has decided to extend the deadline for the online scholarship application to 27th December.

The decision is to allow more applicants to apply for sponsorship opportunity for their local tertiary education

By this release, we wish to inform the continuing student applicants who went through the selection interviews at the various District Assemblies that, payments have started.

The lists of paid beneficiaries are being sent to the District Assemblies for issuance of award letters and applicants would have to contact their respective assemblies on receipt of payment notification from the Scholarships Secretariat.
