About The Ghana Civil Service
The Ghana civil service assists the Government of Ghana in the formulation and implementation of government policies for the development of the country.
The Office of the Head of Civil Service ensures continuous renewal and professional development of the Human Resource of the Civil Service by ensuring that MDAs are optimally structured, adequately staffed with the right skills to provide policy advice to the political leadership of the country to facilitate good governance and accelerated national development.
The civil service is Ghana’s largest employer. The civil service recruits graduates of Ghana’s public universities and other educational institutions through a system of competitive examinations.
The Office of the Head of Civil Service is made up of a large team of experts that supervise a hierarchy of graded personnel working in areas such as health, agriculture, transportation and communications, and local government.
The Civil Service performs the following functions as mandated by the PNDC Law 32;
- It Initiates and formulates policies for consideration by the government and advises on government plans;
- It Undertakes such research to aide the effective implementation of government policies
- It Implements, Reviews, Monitor, co-ordinate and evaluates government policies
- It Performs other functions as directed by the Executive branch of government.
- In charge over all Civil Servants and Ensures efficiency of the service
- Determines and advises on manpower limits for the Service.
Civil Service Online Graduate Recruitment Application Procedures
There had been an initial recruitment in August, 2019. The next Ghana Civil Service online Graduate Entrance Examination is scheduled to take place in February, 2020.
All candidates who still seek an opportunity to join the Service are required to re-apply through the application process stated below

When will the final recruitment come on ?
Pls I have received the message on 24 July 2021 for payment and exams but my index number 2031719 is the same as my password making it difficult for me to sign in and make payment for the exams. tomorrow is the dead line for registration and my exams is being schedule on 30th July 2021 from 10am to 11am. I have tried all the help lines that came with the message but its either switch off or busy. kindly help out in order to sign in, waiting to hear from u soon.

Please when exactly is the ohcs examination since I checked their site and they said 11feb but ever since I have been checking the on 11th but there was no exam. Is there a problem.
