About KDF Shortlisted Candidates

The Kenya Defence Forces typically communicate with chosen individuals using the contact details provided during the registration process. In case you do not receive any communication, you can visit the KDF Portal to view the list of selected candidates. It’s important to regularly check your phone and email to ensure you don’t miss updates regarding the release of the final shortlisted candidates by KDF.
Recently, the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) initiated recruitment for various positions, including General Service Officer (GSO) Cadets (both Regular and Graduate degree holders), Specialist Officers, General Duty Recruits, Tradesmen/women, and Defence Forces Constables. They have now shortlisted candidates who have progressed to the next stage of the recruitment process.
Recruitment teams from the Kenya Army, the Kenya Air Force, and the Kenya Navy will visit designated recruitment centers on specified dates to enlist individuals for roles such as General Service Officer (GSO) Cadets, General Service Officer Cadets (Graduate degree holders), General Duty Recruits, and Defence Forces Constabulary.

KDF Shortlisted Candidates Screening / Interviews Centers

Selected Specialist Officers and Tradesmen/women are scheduled for interviews on the following dates and locations:

a. Tradesmen/women should arrive at Embakasi Garrison in Nairobi on Monday, September 25, at 8:00 AM.
b. Specialist Officer candidates are expected to be present at KMA – Lanet, Nakuru, on Monday, October 16, at 8:00 AM.

Only applicants who have met the minimum qualifications and completed the KDF recruitment application process will be included in the screening process listed on the KDF Recruitment Portal.

To check KDF Shortlisted Candidates Names, first visit the KDF portal login: www.mod.go.ke or https://applications.mod.go.ke/
Then enter your Phone Number, Email and password to login
After login navigate to the shortlist status section
Your KDF Shortlisted Status would be displayed to determine whether you were shortlisted or not

KDF Shortlisted Candidates Required Documents For Interview

All candidates MUST bring with them the following: Original National Identity (ID) Card and four copies of their Academic, Professional Certificates, Curriculum Vitae and any other Testimonials.

KDF Shortlisted Candidates Guidelines

During the interview period, meals and lodging will be supplied.
Travel expenses for candidates who are not selected will be reimbursed following KDF Regulations.
Candidates are recommended to bring warm clothing.
