NIA Resumes Ghana Card Registration & Replacement

Members of the public are kindly informed that the national identification authority will resume provision of the following registration services effective Monday, 15th March:

 

Resumed Services

  1. Premium Registration
  2. Update Of Personal Records
  3. Replacement Of Cards
  4. Collection Of Cards and
  5. Issuance of Non-Citizen Ghana card

  2. I cannot link my card to my sim, because the system tell I have given the wrong name. How do I correct the error?

  3. There is a worker called Sylvester at the Shiashi office who is extremely rude and uncouth. He treats customers with so much contempt. He is the last person the NIA should want to place at its gate, because he is a disgrace, not an asset. Please, teach him how to communicate to and respect customers. Tell him that he is earning a living, not doing anyone a favour. His attitude is simply sickening

  5. I just want to know why your office at Weija-Gbawe Municipal Assembly is not opened.
    I did my registration a year ago in August and I have still not got my card after several follow ups. The last time I checked at the HO was in July and I was given a slip to check at your office at W-GMA and to date the office is always closed. How do I get my card?

  12. Hello Sir/Madam
    Please I would want to be a registration Officer in my district Ablekuma Central.

    I have worked with NIA the registration, mop up exercise and the just ended issuing of cards at my district.

    I am a bachelor degree holder from university of Cape Coast, I graduated in the year 2016. With my experience as a registration Officer I believe I can work very hard to achieve the goals of NIA and the government of Ghana vision.

  19. I registered for the Ghana card last year and made a fellow up for the card but to no avail.
    They keep on telling me the card is not in meanwhile those I registered with had theirs. Plsease someone should help me get my card. 0552503693

      1. The Ghana Card is mainly for Ghanaian citizens but not non citizens other countries they don’t issue their national cards to non citizens so the Authority should be weary of this .

    2. Sure but that will come with a fee as the change of name will affect the card to be replaced.
