Recruitment Of Public Key Infrastructure Administrators

Job Responsibilities

• Make sure there is a smooth and secure workflow between the Enrolment and Card Production system.
• Weekly renewal of the OCSP certificates, which is used daily to check revocation status on all digital certificates.
• Identify use cases for PKI
• Assist with the facilitation of the development of Certificate Practice Statements
• Renewal and monitoring of all certificates  for all workstations and servers
• Install, maintain and troubleshoot PKI Software
• Act as an intermediary with certificate authorities, that is NITA
• Incharge of technical cryptography modernization and compliance with security processes.
• Assist in the implementation of all major Management processes within the Margins Group.
• Support in conducting token insurance, certificates suspension, and major recoveries
• Quarterly renewal of  root certificates at NITA
• Thirty-three (33) days renewal terminals (MRW laptop and verification kits) for NIA
• Checking digital certificates  in the management  system
• Checking of services ( Tomcat, OpenDj, emod_dvca, emod_authca)on a timely basis for efficient productivity
• Timely maintenance  Hardware Security Model (HSM)

Job Qualifications

• At least a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering Network Administration, or any other relevant professional qualification
• At least one (1) year post-qualification relevant work experience in a recognized institution
• Have a minimum of one (1) certification in fields such OCSP or Microsoft certification in Windows Server and Windows Client.
• Must a competitive selection interview conducted by the Public Services Commission.

Recruitment Of System Security Administrator

Job Responsibilities

• Analyze and establish security requirements for the systems networks
• Defend systems against unauthorized access, modification, and/or destruction
• Configure and support security tools such as firewalls, anti-virus software, patch management systems, etc.
• Define access privileges, control structures, and resources
• Perform vulnerability testing, risk analyses, and security assessments
• Identify abnormalities and report violations
• Oversee and monitor routine security administration
• Develop and update business continuity and disaster recovery protocols
• Train fellow employees in security awareness, protocols, and procedures
• Design and conduct security audits to ensure operational security
• Respond immediately to security incidents and provide post-incident analysis

Job Qualifications

• At least a Master’s Degree in computer science, cyber security, or a similar field.
• Minimum training certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information System Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or CompTIA Security, and Certified Ethical Hacking (CEH) are required.
• Excellent understanding and knowledge of computer, network, and security systems.

Recruitment Of Network Administrator

Job Responsibilities

• Maintaining computer networks and systems, including software, VPNs, routers, and other physical hardware.
• Installing and configuring network equipment to update or fix hardware or software issues
• Updating virus protection software to keep data and communications protected
• Monitoring computer systems to improve network performance for computer systems and networks
• Communicating networking issues to other employees and management, especially in training new users
• Fixing software and hardware configuration issues for users on-demand or from inspection of the systems
• Maintain Access Control System to the data center and ensure appropriate management of the access system
• Mange al malfunctioning backup tape equipment and perform preventable and corrective maintenance on equipment to reduce outages.
• Monitor all issues and escalate them to the needed departments for effective resolution.
• Supervises all equipment such as alarm systems and firefighting.
• Ensure compliance schedule for everyday operations

• Assist with the implementation and evangelization of cyber security best practices and load cyber incident response/management if necessary

• Design and implement short and long-term strategic plans to ensure infrastructure capacity meets existing and future requirements
• Develop, implement and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for infrastructure administration and project management
• Participate in the development of IT strategies in collaboration with peer and senior management
• Manage and set priorities for the design, maintenance, development, and evaluation of all in-scope infrastructure systems
• Work with peer Infrastructure and other Technology and Biometrics Managers to provide input into the departmental vision and strategic road map for Data Centre technical platforms
• Establish and maintain regular written and in-person communications with the senior management, decision-makers, stakeholders, department managers, and end-users regarding pertinent infrastructure activities

Job Qualifications

• At least a Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunication, Computer Engineering, or a similar field from an approved university.
• Professional Certificates in Information Technology such as Oracle, DCIM, etc.
• At least 8 years of experience loading IT Units and strategic IT Projects
• At least 8 years of hands-on technical experience building and supporting many of the following services and technologies six (6) of which should be in a management position:

1. Disaster Recovery
2. Extensive experience leading infrastructure delivery teams inclusive of scope, scheduling, budgeting, and project planning in an environment with aggressive delivery goals
3. Expertise with vendor management, negotiation, and oversight of vendor resources (SLA management)
4. Experience in transforming teams through Technology and Biometric Technology

• A minimum of eight (8) years of relevant working experience in a Public Service Organization or in a reputable Private Sector Organization of which at least (6) years must have been in Senior Management (Principal Officer) position

Recruitment Of Data Center Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Analyse and determine the appropriate layout of all equipment in the data centre with the help of balancing and cooling.
• The NIA data Centre manager needs Data Analysis Skills, Service Level Management expertise and Networking with Hardware Infrastructure Skills
• Mondor and supervise all data contra solutions.
• Assist various departments, agencies and organisations in installations and removal of data centre hardware as per requirement.
• Document all power and space schematics and ensure accuracy in the same
• Perform installation and ensure the effective layout of all tools in the cabling industry as per industry best practices.
• Monitor all data centre assets for tracking information
• Coordinate with vendors and resource engineers and ensure effective completion of all installation hardware at various data centres
• Ensure capacity planning, perform power audits and ensure appropriate supply of power to all equipment
