• The objective of the National Science & Maths Quiz is to promote the study of the mathematics and sciences, as well as  help students to develop quick thinking while fostering healthy academic rivalry among senior high schools.

• Three schools represented by two contestants will compete in contests to be crowned the  winner of NSMQ 2023.
• The final Stage contests of the 2023 edition of the National Science & Maths Quiz is scheduled for Monday, October 30th, 2023 at the National Theatre, Accra.
• Achimota School, Opoku Ware School and PRESEC Legon have qualified for the finals of the NSMQ 2023
