Details: WASSCE Graduates To Receive Scholarships – Ghana Scholarship Secretariat

According to the Ghana Scholarship Secretariat, Some WASSCE Graduates May Receive Scholarships to pursue programs in the various tertiary institutions  for the next academic year.

This is as stated in a release by the Ghana Scholarship Secretariat concerning a social media video reporting of the excellent results of a needy but brilliant SHS graduate who is unable to continue his education due to financial difficulties. The statement reads as follows:

H.E President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo- Addo has taken notice of a social media video reporting of the excellent results of Thomas Amoaning who lives in Asuaba near Adeiso and attended Adeiso SHS. The student reportedly scored 8 A’s in the recently released WASSCE results

As a normal practice and taking into consideration the socio-geographical background of the student, H.E the President has expressly directed the Ghana Scholarship Secretariat to grant a full scholarship award to the student for his tertiary studies.

The Scholarship Secretariat has subsequently established contact with the student and Parent and will on Friday 27th November, 2020 pay a visit to the family to discuss their needs in details

We again, seize this opportunity to inform our cherished WASSCE graduates to prepare themselves for a big announcement from the Secretariat on Tuesday 1st December, 2020.

The retooled Ghana Scholarships Secretariat is now strategically positioned to effectively deliver on its mandate of awarding scholarship to Ghanaians for tertiary education
