Student Laptop Loan Program

The Student Laptop Loan Program has officially been launched this includes a Smartphone Scheme as well For All Tertiary Institutions (Both private and public) in Ghana to apply for a laptop and smartphone as part of their student loan.

The student Loan laptop is accessible to students on student loan, interested applicants are to visit the Student Loan Trust Fund website at www.sltf.gov.gh or follow the stated procedures below.

About Student Laptop Loan

• The Student Laptop & Smartphone Loan is part of the normal loan. The cost of the laptop is a portion of the student loan amount.
  
• After making your request, you will be notified through text message when and where to pick up your machine. It would normally be at your zone or campus office.
• The Student Laptop & Smartphone has warranty which covers the hardware, faulty screen, battery, faulty camera and keyboard.
• There is no limit on the number of devices you can request, so long as it can be covered by your loan amount.
• You will be notified of the cost of the each devices at the time of applying.
• The Student Laptop & Smartphone is part of the loan you applied for, so it is subject to the same repayment conditions as the normal loan.

• The laptop model currently available is the Lenovo V130-15, Celeron Dual Core (N4000,4GB DDR4, 1TB 5400rpm, Intel HD Graphics, 15.6” HD, Windows 10, Wi-fi AC 1X1+BT4.1, N-FPR,0.3 MP Camera, DVD RW, 2 cell, 45W AC, KYB UK English).

How To Apply For SLTF laptop Scheme

1. First visit the Student Laptop Scheme portal at: SLTF Laptop Scheme
2. Then Download the laptop request form from the SLTF website stated above ie (www.sltf.gov.gh)
3. Afterwards fill it and present it to your SLTF campus office.
4. Finally, you will be notified in person at the office or by text message detailing when and where to pick up your laptop

1. First visit the Student Smartphone Scheme portal at: SLTF Smartphone Scheme
2. Then Download the Smartphone request form from the SLTF website stated above ie (www.sltf.gov.gh)
3. Afterwards fill it and present it to your SLTF campus office.
4. Finally, you will be notified in person at the office or by text message detailing when and where to pick up your smartphone
