About Shortlisted Candidates

• The Kenya Defence Forces usually contact chosen candidates through the contact details provided during registration. If you do not receive any communication, you can visit the KDF Portal to access the list of candidates shortlisted. Additionally, it’s crucial to regularly check your phone and email to ensure you are informed when the final list of KDF shortlisted candidates is published.
• Recently, the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) initiated a recruitment drive for various positions, including General Service Officer (GSO) Cadets for both regular and graduate degree holders, Specialist Officers, General Duty Recruits, Tradesmen/women, and Defence Forces Constables. As a result, successful candidates have been chosen for the subsequent phase of the recruitment process.
• The KDF Recruiting Teams, comprised of the Kenya Army, the Kenya Air Force, and the Kenya Navy, will be available at designated recruitment centers on specified dates to enroll General Service Officer (GSO) Cadets, General Service Officer Cadets with graduate degrees, General Duty Recruits, and Defence Forces Constabulary.

Screening / Interviews Centers

The following is the interview schedule for selected Specialist Officers and Tradesmen/women :

• a. Tradesmen/women are expected to attend interviews at Embakasi Garrison – Nairobi, on Monday, 25th September, at 0800 hrs (8.00 am).
• b. Specialist Officer candidates should attend interviews at KMA – Lanet, Nakuru, on Monday, 16th October, at 0800 hrs (8.00 am).

Successful Candidates

• Only candidates who fulfilled the outlined requirements and submitted applications for KDF recruitment are chosen for evaluation on the KDF Recruitment Portal.

How To Check MOD Shortlisted Candidates

1. To check KDF Shortlisted Names, first visit the MOD portal login: www.mod.go.ke or https://applications.mod.go.ke/
2. Then enter your Phone Number, Email and password to login
3. After login navigate to the shortlist status section
4. Your KDF Shortlisted Status would be displayed to determine whether you were shortlisted or not

Shortlisted Candidates Required Documents For Interview

• All candidates MUST bring the following documents Original National Identity (ID) Card and four copies of their Academic, Professional Certificates, Curriculum Vitae and any other Testimonials.

Shortlisted Candidates Guidelines

• During the interview, meals and lodging will be supplied.
• Travel expenses for candidates who are not successful will be reimbursed following KDF Regulations.
• Candidates should bring warm clothing
