The Management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) is about to release the postings of newly recruited teachers any moment from now. This is as made known by the Minister of Education, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum in an interview on GTVBreakfast show on GTV.

Responding to the question on When Will Posting Of Newly Trained Teachers Be Out, the Minister replied with the following statement:
“The release of postings may happen any moment from now because the Ghana Education Service and Ministry of Education have worked on it as we got clearance from the Finance Ministry last month”
The Education Minister stated that his outfit late last year received financial clearance from the Ministry of Finance (MoF) for the recruitment of 16,000 College of Education (CoE) graduates to be recruited into GES.

The ministry of education has subsequently introduced E-deployment which will comes with an incentive and other packages to motivate newly trained teachers to make the teaching profession attractive to them.
The Ministry of Education has partnered with the World Bank to support and enhance the standard of teaching and the lives of both students and teachers in remote areas.
