Government Announces When Schools Should Resume
The Government of Ghana has Cleared Basic and Senior High Schools To Reopen Mid January, likely On January 18th. This is the outcome of the Cabinet meeting held by the president and stakeholders of the Education Sector on 30th December. Reliable sources within government have told Graphic Online that Schools in Ghana will return to full academic work beginning mid-January most likely 18th January.

Schools In Ghana To Reopen Mid January
Outcome Of The Cabinet Meeting
President Akufo-Addo on Wednesday, 30th December, met cabinet to decide on the possible reopening of schools in January.
The Full Report on the outcome of Wednesday’s cabinet meeting chaired by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, is expected to be announced soon. This will detail the academic calendar for the various nursery, kindergarten, primary, Junior High School (JHS), Senior High School (SHS), Colleges and Universities in Ghana.
It has however emerged that all Basic and Senior High Schools in the country will reopen fully by January 18th.
The decision to officially open all schools from nursery, kindergarten, primary to the Senior High School level for effective academic work to take place was taken at the cabinet meeting on 30th December.
Cabinet has also recommended that effective COVID-19 safety protocols should be put in place before reopening of schools in Ghana.
The Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah earlier stated that government has been in discussions with stakeholders within the Education sector to come up with a comprehensive plan on the reopening of schools.
In Ghana we don,t understand GES mode of recruitment at all only on one direction whiles others who offered educational related courses and can perform very well from universities are dieing slowly with pain even with Ntc cert why?
